The Nevada Cannabis Association’s Board of Directors are representatives of the cannabis industry, elected by NCA members, who bring a wide variety of business skills and industry expertise to their roles.

President

Jon Marshall is Chief Operating Officer of Deep Roots Harvest, a vertically integrated cannabis company with dispensary licenses as well as a 40,000 sq. ft. cultivation and production facility.

Brandon Wiegand

President Emeritus

NCA President Brandon Wiegand is an experienced C-suite executive in Nevada’s cannabis industry and the Chief Operating Officer of Jardín Premium Cannabis Dispensary, based in Las Vegas.

Lindsay Klimitz

Vice President

Lindsay Klimitz is the Director of Operations and Procurement at Green Cannabis Co. Her background is in business development, purchasing, and sales management with a focus on SEO and marketing.

John Ackell

John Ackell

Treasurer

John Ackell is the General Manager with full operational control of Zenway Corp. He worked on regulatory and legislative matters in the energy and environmental sector as associate attorney at a law firm in Washington, D.C. before joining Zenway Corp. in 2021.

Michael Cristalli

Secretary

Michael Cristalli is a Board Member of Jade Cannabis Co. and an attorney at Clark Hill. He represents clients in catastrophic injury, complex criminal, corporate, and civil litigation matters nationally and internationally. He also supports many clients in the cannabis industry.

David Goldwater

Jerry Velarde

Board Member

Board member Jerry Velarde is a partner in Wallflower Cannabis House Dispensary. He was the Founder of NV 3480 Hacienda Partners, Inc., which operates Evergreen Organix, Ego Brands and Fleur.

Daniel Wacks is the managing partner and co-founder of Gravitas Nevada Ltd. He has founded and scaled multiple cannabis companies in California and Nevada as well as designing and developing CEA facilities across the globe.

Layke Martin

Executive Director

An attorney, professor and native Nevadan, Layke Martin is a graduate of UNLV and the Boston University School of Law. Martin coordinates the NCA’s legislative and policy agendas, educational programming, community outreach, and member services.
