Thrive Cannabis Marketplace

Thrive Cannabis Marketplace, currently under construction.

With two locations set to open early this year, Thrive Cannabis Marketplace is the latest in a steady stream of medical marijuana marketplaces to bring the health benefits of cannabis to the Las Vegas Valley.

The Marketplace website affirms that Thrive is “built on the knowledge that carefully sourced and administered cannabis can be safely used to treat a wide variety of challenges to health and comfort.” According to the Marketplace, “marijuana should share company with other health supporting herbs and plants like chamomile, green tea, gingko, ginseng, etc., rather than viewed as a dangerous street drug used for hedonistic partying.”

Thrive Cannabis Marketplace

“OUR PLAN

Understand and facilitate the needs of our patients
Respect and honor the laws about medical marijuana
Create an atmosphere based on professionalism, compassion, security, and privacy
Provide the widest variety of the highest grade medical marijuana
Create a positive example in the medical marijuana industry by helping to eliminate negative stigmas
Support local charities, local culture and the local economy”

For potential customers interested in browsing the Marketplace, Thrive’s website offers up plenty of useful information, including details on how eligible patients can obtain a Medical Marijuana (MMJ) Card in the state of Nevada. You’ll first need to receive a referral from a licensed medical doctor, preferably a doctor who is familiar with the referral process as they will more likely have the appropriate paperwork required by the state on hand. Once your referral has been obtained, the next step is to visit a Medical Marijuana Card processor for completion and submission to the state. Other information on the Thrive website includes explanations of the various aspects of marijuana, including cultivation and processing. Read more on the Thrive Cannabis Marketplace website.

Thrive Cannabis Marketplace’s North Las Vegas location (2755 West Cheyenne Ave., Suite 103) is slated to open in January, while the Marketplace’s second location in the heart of the Arts District in downtown Las Vegas (1112 S. Commerce St.), will open sometime in February. Both locations will be open daily, from 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
